ISREAL EMMANUEL LEADS A&A ACADEMY INTO THE SEMI FINALS OF THE GOV IKPEAZU PRE-SEASON TOURNAMENT IN ABA.


Just like a dream come true, the coach Emmanuel Ntuk tutored side gathered 6points after winning two matches out of four after Abia Comets suffered a 2-0 defeat in the hands of the Elephants .

With Orok's volley at the 42nd min of the game, it gave the A&A academy the full confidence to count on  ISREAL EMMANUEL's effort which has paid off to see his team progress to the semi finals.
 
Ronaldo as his is fondly called who is the  Top scorer of the tournament is expected to increase his 6goal tally as they hope to Upset their Host and seal a place in the Finals on Sunday. 

Enyimba International will now take on Plateau United in the Semi Final by 10am 
while A&A Will lock horns with the NPFL side Abia Warriors by 12noon in the second semi Final at the Enyimba International Staduim Aba.

Sports Journalists In Aba Honor Finidi George in Post-Afcon Reception.

Members of the Aba Sports Journalists Forum(ASJ)  came out in their numbers to a dinner, to welcome and honour Ex-international and  Super Eagles assistant coach, Finidi George after the exploits of the Super Eagles at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d'Ivoir. The dinner which was hosted by Finidi George, who is also Enyimba's coach had journalists from different media outlets asking Finidi questions about his AFCON experiences, the Super Eagles, Enyimba and his time as a player and other questions on his experience as coach of the current NPFL Champions.  It was a moment to relax, learn and hear from the legend who has won the AFCON Gold, Silver and Bronze medal as player and coach.  The former Ajax winger would be in charge of his first game at Enyimba since returning from the AFCON when Enyimba host Gombe United on Thursday afternoon.

Lagos State FA Chairman Congratulates Manu Garba On His Appointment As Golden Eaglets Coach

  Lagos State Football Association Chairman, Hajji Liameed Olawale Gafar, has congratulated Manu Garba, on his appointment as the new head coach of the Nigeria U17 national football team, the Golden Eaglets.  Manu Garba's first tenure as Eaglets Manager saw him handling footballers such as Taiwo Awoniyi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Isaac  Success, Francis Uzoho, Chidiebere Nwakali and Musa Muhammed to victory at the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup.   According to Hajji Gafar, he believes that this experience makes Manu Garba the ideal candidate to lead the Golden Eaglets to new heights. The coach who returns for his third stint with the team has been saddled with the responsibility of leading the current crop of players to next month's WAFU B U17 Championship which serves as qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations.
