'Enyimba FC is star studded'- Fatai Osho


Coach Fatai Osho has the luxury of rotating his players. 

Guess tomorrow games against Plateau united will be the star fixture of the tournament. 

After watching Plateau  United's 4 games here in aba, during the Pre season tournament,

Coach Abdul Maikaba has got good midfielders in Oche Salefu,  Uche Owosanya, Isah Ndala, Benjamin Turba.

I feel they need to look for a good replacement for Ibrahim Mustapha that joined a Dubai team. 

Abdurahman Bashir, Wasiu Jimoh and Sunday Adetunji should look to play better.

Sunday Anthony, Nenrot Silas, have been a delight to watch, while Former Akwa United centre back Dennis Nya has blended with his new team, partnering the dependable Andrew Ikefe. 

While Enyimba FC looks good. 

Striker Tosin Omoleye, Victor Mbaoma, Martin Usule, are good. 

But the real ball Juglers pleasure for the "People's Elephant" are:
Gabriel Orok, Anayo Iwuala, Austin Oladapo, Cyril Olisema and Sodiq Abubakar.

No wonder Coach Fatai Osho described them as the "Super 5".

In the goalkeeping area,  It looks like Olufemi Kayode, might be Entomb FC number 1 goalie this season,  but then, he will have to fight against  the likes of Noble Anthony, and
Dessers Bassa.

Sports Journalists In Aba Honor Finidi George in Post-Afcon Reception.

Members of the Aba Sports Journalists Forum(ASJ)  came out in their numbers to a dinner, to welcome and honour Ex-international and  Super Eagles assistant coach, Finidi George after the exploits of the Super Eagles at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d'Ivoir. The dinner which was hosted by Finidi George, who is also Enyimba's coach had journalists from different media outlets asking Finidi questions about his AFCON experiences, the Super Eagles, Enyimba and his time as a player and other questions on his experience as coach of the current NPFL Champions.  It was a moment to relax, learn and hear from the legend who has won the AFCON Gold, Silver and Bronze medal as player and coach.  The former Ajax winger would be in charge of his first game at Enyimba since returning from the AFCON when Enyimba host Gombe United on Thursday afternoon.

Lagos State FA Chairman Congratulates Manu Garba On His Appointment As Golden Eaglets Coach

  Lagos State Football Association Chairman, Hajji Liameed Olawale Gafar, has congratulated Manu Garba, on his appointment as the new head coach of the Nigeria U17 national football team, the Golden Eaglets.  Manu Garba's first tenure as Eaglets Manager saw him handling footballers such as Taiwo Awoniyi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Isaac  Success, Francis Uzoho, Chidiebere Nwakali and Musa Muhammed to victory at the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup.   According to Hajji Gafar, he believes that this experience makes Manu Garba the ideal candidate to lead the Golden Eaglets to new heights. The coach who returns for his third stint with the team has been saddled with the responsibility of leading the current crop of players to next month's WAFU B U17 Championship which serves as qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations.
