Y.G Football Club and 1960Bet solidify partnership



Nigeria’s largest sporting bet firm 1960Bet followed their signing of an agreement with Y.G football club by partnering with the Lagos based outfit club toady at Agege Township Stadium, Lagos.

1960bet has reached an agreement to become the official kit sponsor of the defending Champion of the Ikeja Divisional  Football League ahead of Eko football league this season, with the second stanza of the ongoing divisional league.

 
Director of1960bet, Oluwatosin Ayoola, stated that the deal is to show support for sports development in the country basically on grassroot sports with the promotion of positive productive engagement for Nigeria youth across the crannes of this nation.

He further disclosed that over the years 1960bet as dish out provision of quality services to valubale sports community. The sporting bet company is aim to provide long term partnership on players development for the club with playing kit, to the teams and will have the exclusive right to distribute dual-branded merchandising for the club.

Members of the Aba Sports Journalists Forum(ASJ)  came out in their numbers to a dinner, to welcome and honour Ex-international and  Super Eagles assistant coach, Finidi George after the exploits of the Super Eagles at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d'Ivoir. The dinner which was hosted by Finidi George, who is also Enyimba's coach had journalists from different media outlets asking Finidi questions about his AFCON experiences, the Super Eagles, Enyimba and his time as a player and other questions on his experience as coach of the current NPFL Champions.  It was a moment to relax, learn and hear from the legend who has won the AFCON Gold, Silver and Bronze medal as player and coach.  The former Ajax winger would be in charge of his first game at Enyimba since returning from the AFCON when Enyimba host Gombe United on Thursday afternoon.

Lagos State FA Chairman Congratulates Manu Garba On His Appointment As Golden Eaglets Coach

  Lagos State Football Association Chairman, Hajji Liameed Olawale Gafar, has congratulated Manu Garba, on his appointment as the new head coach of the Nigeria U17 national football team, the Golden Eaglets.  Manu Garba's first tenure as Eaglets Manager saw him handling footballers such as Taiwo Awoniyi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Isaac  Success, Francis Uzoho, Chidiebere Nwakali and Musa Muhammed to victory at the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup.   According to Hajji Gafar, he believes that this experience makes Manu Garba the ideal candidate to lead the Golden Eaglets to new heights. The coach who returns for his third stint with the team has been saddled with the responsibility of leading the current crop of players to next month's WAFU B U17 Championship which serves as qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations.
