NATIONWIDE LEAGUE ONE HOLDS ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING ON ZOOM


The Nationwide league one which is the third division tier in Nigeria league is one of the most important league's where grassroot and talented players are groomed. 

With few weeks for the league to commences, the board has decided that the 2021 annual general meeting for the league will take a new dimension due to the ravaging COVID ’19 pandemic.

Sequel to this, all delegates are adviced to comply with COVID ’19 protocols as the Congress will only entertain 30% 
attendant while 70% of our members will join _VIRTUALLY VIA ZOOM._ 
Details of the zoom link will be 
shared among the accredited delegates to be nominated by Clubs from each states of the Federation. 

*The annual general meeting will hold online (virtual zoom) by 11:00am on Thursday 18th  February 2021.*

It's at the course of this meeting, that the fixtures, venues and lot more about this years league will be discussed said the Chief operating officer Mr Olushola Ogunnowo.

Sports Journalists In Aba Honor Finidi George in Post-Afcon Reception.

Members of the Aba Sports Journalists Forum(ASJ)  came out in their numbers to a dinner, to welcome and honour Ex-international and  Super Eagles assistant coach, Finidi George after the exploits of the Super Eagles at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d'Ivoir. The dinner which was hosted by Finidi George, who is also Enyimba's coach had journalists from different media outlets asking Finidi questions about his AFCON experiences, the Super Eagles, Enyimba and his time as a player and other questions on his experience as coach of the current NPFL Champions.  It was a moment to relax, learn and hear from the legend who has won the AFCON Gold, Silver and Bronze medal as player and coach.  The former Ajax winger would be in charge of his first game at Enyimba since returning from the AFCON when Enyimba host Gombe United on Thursday afternoon.

Lagos State FA Chairman Congratulates Manu Garba On His Appointment As Golden Eaglets Coach

  Lagos State Football Association Chairman, Hajji Liameed Olawale Gafar, has congratulated Manu Garba, on his appointment as the new head coach of the Nigeria U17 national football team, the Golden Eaglets.  Manu Garba's first tenure as Eaglets Manager saw him handling footballers such as Taiwo Awoniyi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Isaac  Success, Francis Uzoho, Chidiebere Nwakali and Musa Muhammed to victory at the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup.   According to Hajji Gafar, he believes that this experience makes Manu Garba the ideal candidate to lead the Golden Eaglets to new heights. The coach who returns for his third stint with the team has been saddled with the responsibility of leading the current crop of players to next month's WAFU B U17 Championship which serves as qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations.
