NNL All-Stars Clinch Amapro Football Championship Title

NNL All Stars were crowned champions of the 6th edition of Amapro Football Championship after they defeated Abraysports 4-2 on penalties. The full time score stood at 1-1 even as both teams tried to outwit themselves while trying to take their chances during the game.  Abraysports had the better of the match as they dominated play creating several scoring chances in the first stanza. Obadun Abdulrasheed jumped highest in the area to nod home the opener for Ilorin based Abraysports on 30 minutes. Ibrahim Hameed curled the ball beyond the wall and it rested at the back of the net for NNL All Stars' leveller.  All Stars dominated play in the second half and should have won it but the Abraysports defence were solid keeping their lines. Both teams then had to decide their fate via penalties after the referee signaled end of the game. The end result saw the NNL All Stars winning the game 4-2 on shoot out, thus claiming the trophy of the 6th edition of the Amapro F

'Code, Content and Community are the three keys to higher search engine for website visibility", this was harped upon this Saturday, 28th August, 2021 by Mr Muideen Awe as the Multimedia Sports Journalists organized a crash course on “Search Engine Optimizatio Writing” for its members.  The course which was held via Google Meet touched on the importance of SEO writing and how it can help a client's website. Mr Awe also reiterated on why understanding how to write SEO content is key to ones success as a freelance writer.  Speaking on behalf of the group, Mr Enitan Obadina thanked the resource person for a job well done despite a short time notice.  The training is coming off the back of the first one held on “How To Start An NPFL Fan TV” as the MSJ executive committee says it would continue to put up innovative to make the group bigger and better. 2021 Amapro Championship Day 1 Wrap: Abraysports, NPFL All Stars, Mokwa Secure Morale Boosting Results

It was an enthralling moment in the matches played on day one of the 2021 Amapro Football Championship at the Kwara State Stadium, Ilorin on Monday. The annual competition, which is created to integrate professionals with amateur players and also to discover talents started on an entertaining note with 9 goals scored on the first day. The first game of the day saw Mokwa FA claim a 2-1 win over a strong-willed Olanshile Football Academy.  Yunusa Isah opened the scoring in the 11th minute from a well taken spot kick, before Olansile responded quickly with a fine goal from Fakunle Abayomi in the 19th minute.  Liman Musa put Mokwa FA back in front in the 32nd minute. The Niger boys closed shop and sealed three points.   Local and International football scouts have converged in Ilorin for the Amapro Football Tournamen organised by Phreestyle Sports to select talented footballers for international opportunities. The tournament started on Monday 23rd August at Kwara Stadium Complex. Speaking at the Press Conference, Coordinator of the competition Shogo Shodunnke said that the tournament is also an opportunity at empowering the youths. "This football competition amongst the teams will be a unique concept which will be centered on discovering talented footballers," the Phreestyle CEO said. Official: Nigeria defender Tebo Franklin joins BK Hacken on loan

  Swedish Allsvenskan club BK Hacken have announced the capture of highly rated Nigeria central defender Tebo Franklin on a five-month loan. Tebo Franklin last played for Nasarawa United in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL). The transfer was confirmed on Saturday morning after the Nigeria international arrived Sweden during the week. Hacken have an option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season, with a four-year deal on the table. Tebo Franklin was marketed to BK Hackens via TikiTaka earlier in the year and was later seen in NPFL games on the NPFL TV App. He later got a chance to feature in a scouting programme in June, after a pre contract had been signed. The 21-year-old is expected to have the company of Barcelona product Godswill Ekpolo at the Bravida Arena, Gothenburg. Tebo has spent the past two seasons on loan at Nasarawa United. He played in the friendly defeat of Super Eagles to Mexico in Los Angeles last month.

Jubilation in Ilorin as Kwara United beat Katsina, pick continental ticket

Kwara United on Thursday, August 5, finally picked a continental ticket after beating visiting Katsina United 3-0 in final game of the season in Ilorin. Ayobami Junior scored the first goal for Kwara United in the 20th minute before Michael Ohanu and Stephen Jude sealed the win for the Harmony Boys. Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Deputy, Mr Kayode Alabi were on ground to cheer Kwara United to victory against Katsina United at the Kwara state stadium. Fans were happy after the match at the Kwara state stadium considering the fact that it was 14 years ago that the Harmony Boys last played continental games. While expressing happiness for the continental ticket picked, Kwara United General Manager Bashir Badawiy thanked the Government under His Excellency, Governor Abdulrahman, Kwarans and fans for the support throughout the season. Former Water FC of Abuja star Adewale Oladoye scores on European debut for Belgian side Gent.

It was a dream debut for Former Flying Eagles midfielder Adewale Oladoye  as he scored in Gent's Uefa European conference league qualificatiom match against RSF of latvia. The highly rated former Water FC of Abuja defensive midfielder opened the come back for his belgian side in their two all draw with the latvian side.  Oladole's well taken goal was scored in the 52nd minute before dutch striker tarik Tissoudalli completed the comeback in the 77th minute.  The belgian side who dominated the game for the entire 90 miniutes have all to do in the return leg to ensure their place in the next round. But  the 19 year old Oladole who was a delight in the middle of the park was in action for the entire ninety minutes of the game. The 6ft midfielder who has drawn huge comparisom with Leicester City star Wilfred Ndidi is widely expected to break into the limelight this season in the Belgian top flight.
